The goal of the South Dakota School of Mines ASCE Student Chapter is to enhance the personal and professional development of students. ASCE strives to promote the development of leadership skills, team building, and commitment to excellence in students' personal and professional lives.
The SDSM&T ASCE participates in many activities including the regional and national concrete canoe and steel bridge competitions, local and regional can-struction food drive, highway cleanups, as well as various industry tours throughout the academic year.
